After you take the four bolts out. It should just about fall off on it's own. I have only seen one or two that need taped with a rubber mallet.

I am curious about that too,, let us know how it goes. I read lots of good things, but that could be just marketing hype too.

Guys I am not 100% on how I did it all almost 2 years ago.

1st get a copy of the many to show you how the belt routing goes or write down your own schematic before intial removal of the belt.

I dont remember for certain if I had to remove the fan, but if you do:
Remove the 4 10mm bolts that hold the pull to the engine block and the whole assembly will FALL into your hands. The assembly is heavy and dont let it fall and break.

There is no need for a harmonic balancer removal tool. It should slide right off but. If it doesnt get a rubber shot mallet or the like and that should do the trick.

Be careful not to damage the very delicate tone ring while your in there. Its best to remove it while you working about but dont forget to get it back on there before you install the fluidampr.

Torque: the torque settings recommended on the fluidampr directions as I remember are not sufficient.
A range from 150-165 Newton Meters is good.

Well for my truck it was a great modification.
I of course have a manual with Dual Disc clutch and was experiencing quite a bit of resonance that the clutch contributed to.

The Fluidampr really quelled the vibrations and resonance and made driving a whole lot nicer.

I would recommend the Fluidampr to anyone with any Diesel pickup.

Standard right hand threads. 15mm.
You will also need something to keep the engine from turning over.
I use a barring tool to keep the turnover from happening.

A little side note. If you ever shread a belt on the road you have to kind of take the Fluidampr off or at least break it loose and tilt it to get the belt on or off.
