I never got abover 31.8psi stock. Not much higher with the Juice, but it doesn't have a "max pressure" record like my X-monitor did so it is hard to tell

I am pretty sure max boost is displayed in the records with temp, mph and all that stuff. I can hit 38-39 if I turn the defueling up past 36 on the attitude. that is max though.

Thank you for the information from each of you. I installed a 0-30 psi gauge and was in fear of it being to small of a range for the pressure. I will have to keep my eye on it to make sure I do not run it past the stop point.

I have a question about this. Everyone keeps saying max boost is somewhere in the neighborhood of 34-38 lbs. I`m only seeing 26 MAX with my BDDL on Performance. Does this sound right ? Why am I not building any more pressure than that ???

Part of the reason is that yours is an 04. The 04.5 on up trucks have more boost from the factory. Mine spikes to around 33-34ish, then settles down to around 28-29 at WOT, without a fueling box etc.

But I will agree, that something may not be right on yours if it is not producing more boost with the BDDL.

Did the 03 and 04 trucks have different turbos than the 04.5 up trucks?

I don`t think there is any differance in the 03-04 and the 04.5 turbo`s, but I could be wrong. After doing a little more reading here and on TDR, I`m satisfied that my boost reading is about right for my truck. I just thought it built more pressure than that.

There is definitely a difference in the turbos. The 04.5 and newer is controlled by an electronic activated wastegate. Also the exhaust outlet is 4 inches unlike the 03/04s 3.5 inch. I'm not sure as to the other dimensions of the turbos.

Mine was also at 30psi stock. I removed the hose going from the wastegate to turbo and plugged it. now it will hit 39psi.
