Fabtech 5" Lift

I just got an 06 2500 mega cab 4x4 cummins and am looking for a lift to clear 35" tires. Fabtech has a 5" lift but I have been unable to get any feedback on it. Anybody have one?

I believe 35's fit stock height... may need a leveling kit in the front.

I've got the fabtech 5 inch lift with 35's on 18" rims, but I've got 4.5 backspace so I still had to trim alittle. I love it, rides great, you can view my gallery for pictures.

Fabtech says use a 17x8 with 4 5/8" backspace. Will the extra 1/8" of backspace really prevent the rubbing?

It might, but the rubbing is really light, nothing you can't fix in 10 mintes with some sheet metal cutters, and rubber mallot. It only rubs on the back for the fenders, not the front, if you look at the bottom of right fender you'll see a stupid black piece plastic that sticks out, you cut that and some of the fender on both sides you're good to go.

Of you could just find rims you like with 5+ of backspacing... Good Luck

Thats 1/8 inch of backspacing more and 2" less wheel width. Theres the difference. For a 9.5-10" wide wheels you need about 5.5" backspacing to have good clearance.I have 9.5"wide with 6" backspacing and it's plenty of clearance , but it rubs the lower arms ocasionaly at full lock

I have Fabtech 5" with 35" tires with 17" wheels. I rub VERY little when I back up and have full turn going. Ride is fine, a little stiffer than stock. Pics in gallery.
Overall happy with lift, look, and setup.

Thats a ton of money to spend to clear 35's. I just put the 2" leveling kit on mine. The only time it rubs is if I am turning full lock and hit a bump or somthing. Even then it is very little. It sits high enough that I have to just give an extra hop to get in. How mugh are you going to be driving it? I have talked to guys who have lifted thiers and got really tired of climbing in and out of it all day every day. Just my .02

THEY MUST BE LAZY OR OLD!

The joy of my lift far exceeds stepping up anothe 4.5 + (37-33)/2 = 6.5".
