Fabtech 5" Lift for 3rd generation
Fabtech 5" Lift for 3rd generation
Searching these fourms I've read that Fabtech lifts are cheaply made and are lower in cost for a reason. I've visited three off road shops in the LosAngeles area (Big John's Performance, Off Road unlimited, and
FourXDoctor) and there technical people recomend the Fabtech 5" lift for my truck. None of them like the Superlift nor the Full Throttle lift kits. Off road unlimited likes the skyjacker 5in aswell. What's not good about the Fabtech kit? They have a double shock option and are not a spacer kit. With that being said I would probably get Deaver to make Me some custom rear leafs for any kit I would choose that way theres no blocks or spacers.
Thanks

TB,
I had a 6" Fabtech (w/dual shock hoops) on a 99 1500 Silverado. Went with 4X4 Shop recommendation. I had no problems with the lift and was very pleased with ride/quality/performance.
