3rd generation wheels on 2nd generation

I put a set of 3rd gen 17" wheels with Toyo open country mt 295. The front tires rub on the suspension when I turn sharp. Is there a fix for this other than new wheels?

I had em on mine also, the offset is different for the 3rd gens, it brings the rims in closer to the control arms so you get rub, are you running a leveling kit? I only had rub on the rear of the control arms at full lock.

Could you put a small spacer in to fix it?

No leveling kit. My also rubs the rear of the control arm at full lock. Did you do any thing to fix it or just deal with it. My main concern is hurting the tires.

A 20mm spacer will bring it back to 2nd gen specs.

Offset for 2nd gens is -20mm, and for 3rd gens it's -40mm.

You'll notice about 3/4" less clearance on the inside without the spacer.

Not sure about your data, The lug nuts are what I saw when I pulled the center cap off. I think I will go Back to Les Schwab and tell them about the rub and see what they can figure out.
