could someone post a good close up pic of were they mounted the sensor for egt guage in there exhaust manifold .

That is exactly where I installed mine too. It was easy to get with a standard drill...didn't need a right angle drill.

One question. When you drill these, what about the shavings when drilling that drop in the inside. Would that harm anything while passing through? Just curious so that I do not ask for trouble down the road. Or, did you guys remove for drilling?

That is what greese on the drill and tap or for...or using the backpressure method...to keep shavings out of the manifold! I kind of think it would not matter anyways...they would just blow out real quick upon starting. Some say better safe than sorry.

On my '00, I just unbolted the turbo from the manifold, and ran the motor for about 5 seconds. This blew any possible shavings on the ground instead of in the turbo.
