EGT sensor question

I am alittle confused on the location og the Exhaust sensor, I know it goes befor the turbo but I thought you should put it in the middle of the manifold so you could get a temp reading from all the cylinders verse putting it in the back or front or does it even matter? I thought I read that the manifold design you can not drill and tap the center in front of the turbo is this correct?

Correct, tap it to the side, measuring the back 3 cylinders. Tap it in the middle, and you drill thru the web of the manifold. Not good. Follow these instructions, and you should be fine.

You can't put it in the middle, there's a dividing wall there. Most of us have it in the back.

The exhaust manifold has an internal baffle to separate the front 3 cylinders from the rear three. Drilling the middle would be a big mess.

Use the TST instructions on their site or at PDR.

TST Requires ADOBE---> TST Pyro Install

PDR ---->PDR Pyro (TST notes)

Hope that helps...
