EDGE and Diese Dynamics drag truck

I'm totally new to all this forum stuff and this is my first time posting. Don't really know if this belongs here, but I'm looking for answers and I hope someone can help.

I'm a proud owner of a new Ram 600 and a buddy of mine directed me to the EDGE site. They had a blurb about their drag truck that really interested me... so I called. After getting info on products for my ride I asked a few questions about the drag truck. To my surprise the guy didn't give much info except it was the best thing out there. I asked what the turbo set up was and what products were they running and was told that it was a secret. Pushing a little deeper I told them that my pal that recommended them saw them in the pits where they ran and got to see the engine. He told me that it was an old 12 valve for sure, but when I asked if that was true the guy said that he didn't know. How could you not know the difference between a 12v and 24v? I also asked if the truck was going to be at the SEMA and PRI show, to which he said yes. He also added that the engine will not be shown at either of those events due to the classified power enhancements. Am I wrong for feeling rubbed the wrong way? I see websites explaining how they get power all the time. In fact, Banks basically gives away the farm as far as info goes on their Sidewinder... and lord knows I'll never have enough money to do those things, but I like knowing. Does Edge have a gamma drive nullifier? A quantum drive? Is it powered by atomic energy? All I know is that they lost my interest as a potential customer, and gained my suspicions as to why they want such a shroud of mystery.

Any thoughts or insight?

First of all I think that they didnt say anything about it because they dont know anything about it, if it was a 24 valve and had some electronics then it might be a diffrent story. The first time out it ran like crap, they had some tuning problems. Keith and his crew at Diesel Dynamics set up the motor but never tuned it in the truck (to my knowlage) If he was at the track and was the person tuning it that would be a diffrent story.

I was there the first night they ran the truck and I believe it is a 24 valve with the 12 valve pump I amnot sure what the turbo set up is. I didn't see it run the first run that night but it blew a hose off the intercooler and the second time it ran it something else happened but i don't think it was serious problem just bugs. But don't quote me on this as I am not sure. It still crossed the line doing something like 50 mph

Thanks for the responses. So it does sound like a 24 valve, but the 12 valve pump is a little confusing. I mean, it's all about power. Only thing is that now I can't look forward to any wazoo electronics coming out of this program. I also read on pickuptruck.com that they are running special pistons. I'd like to know more about those tooand where they got those from. I might do some noseing around and see what I can come up with.

They want me interested... I am, but I don't like waiting for Christmas to find out what's under the tree.

They give some basic info at www.edgeproductsinc.com, if I remember you just click on the image of the truck and it takes you to the link.

I talked to a buddy of mine today about the truck I am not sure about the pump, But on the last run it made the piston hit the valve and it went from midnight black smoke to pure white.
