Dyno results and advice

Well I dyno'd the truck in my sig and I am pretty happy with what I got. It put down 471 rwhp and 906rwtq. I should have blocked my wastegate becuase it only made about 40-41 psi, but the egts only hit 1250 or so. The RP was around 18-20k.
Just like everyone else, I am now looking for more. I will hopefully be doing Inj, Springs, Single CP3 and studs this winter or next spring, but till then I am looking for a good stack. I am thinking about a DR.P, MP-8 or ??? to go with my smarty.

So I am looking for some advice and comments about the dyno.

Thanks,

Paul

There are a number of pressure boxes that make a good stack, from Mp-8 and Dr. p like you mention, also quadzilla, power puck and edge.

Of all these, the MP-8 is my opinion the best because you can fine tune the dial in of the pressure you want. The others can lead you to dangerously high pressures when used in a stack. I use the power puck myself because it is an "on-off" affair I use only on the track or dyno (or passing). But I can see 27k with it too... that is a little too high for most.

You didn't mention what kind of dyno you were on. It is normal on inertia type dynos to see lower boost levels as they don't "load" the drivetrain to get enough backpressure going to spool the turbos. Blocking the wastegate would probably result in little result in your case. On these dynos (dynojet for example as opposed to a mustang which is a load type dyno) it helps to drag your brake when rolling to build up boost just before you nail it. (remember to let go of the brake at that point!)

I am at about the same place with my truck as yours, when the time comes to stack, I will probably go with the mp8. Why did you leave your torque management at 3 for the runs? Did you try any other settings?

For comparison, I used lvl 7, tm 4, timing 0, rp 4 and hit 494hp 1036rwtq.

I woulda thought dual turbos would have you over 500 easy, but I'm no expert.
CL got me 443 on a Mustang with stock turbo.

I got a Quad X2 to stack with it, does pressure and has a rail gaug, seemed like the way to go..?
