Does anyone have any experience with this programmer? They say this is the updated model, R22. Seems to be very close to the SuperChip. Three power levels or return to stock, improve mpg, can't be detected by Dealer (they all say that), reads codes and reset codes, adjust for tire size, can be updated on line. and the price ain't bad $350.

I had a SuperChip in my 01 and was very happy with it. More than enough power for me and improved mpg. But it looks like they are never going to made one for the odd year 04.5

 

they are VERy similar, although the Diablo is not internet upgradeable 'out of the box', it requires extra hardware (model U7777 Interface kit).

 

The Granetelli is also very similar, (even the same shaped case.) I think that Granetelli just re-badges everything including the commander. But back to the point, I am running the predator, and I love it, amazing power, very smooth, dosent cause my truck to surge or make my tranny shift funny. I have it stacked with my edge right now,, and all I can say is,, wow.

ps. you can find the diablo for 320 in a few places with free shipping, I think one of the places is www.concoursdirect.com or something like that, if you do a search on here or on google you will find that

i don't think they can adjust for tire sizes. anyway i have the diablosport and it is very smooth power.

 

one of the recent updated for the flashpaq made it so the superchip could be used on like the 03-07s i think. so it should work on your 04.5. just a thought

Any one use the pred and stack it with the powerpuck?

 

I havent done that stack, was seriously thinking about it, but I am leaning towards a mp-8 now

I didn't know that they upgraded SuperChip. Maybe I should take another look see, where can I get the best price?

 

I think that no matter what box or chip that you might put on it will increase your mileage, if you drive exactly the same. Therein lies the problem, you get all this extra power, it is quite intoxicating, and it is hard to drive the same. But overall I believe you will gain mileage
