If you plan on leaving your truck fairly stock a good choice is the edge juice with attitude, that way you get guages,, guages are very important if you want to keep your truck together with upgrades. Also the edge you can change on the fly, so you might be able to keep your tranny together for a while longer

Just spend a little more money and get a "SMARTY" do some reading and you will find it is the best thing on the market! Marco is always making new updates for the Smarty. He cares alot about you even after the sale and he is always finding more power.

Get the Smarty. For the average guy it alone is more than enough power. Plus if you have any problems, it is completely untraceable.

Marco is on the boards all the time helping people and trying to make his product suit your exact needs. Do you see others doing it?

I have a buddy that run the same quad box you are looking at. It did make nice power. The only thing he did not like about it, is it seem to make more injector noise when it was plugged in (even when it was in the stock setting) He just did not like the extra noise it produced from the injectors. He has sinse went to the edge set up and loves it to death. I am sure everyone of the chips, programmers have there good side and bad side. Just do a lot of studying and reading on all of them. Hopefully you will make the wright choice the first time and not have to sale and by something else.

I have ran most of them,, and I have to say that if I was running a fairly basic truck, I would recommend the juice,, just a nice allround package

I am definitely satisfied with my Quad Race (60-90-140) and Quad Commander. I picked mine up used and at a great price, but even new, I believe this setup is cheaper than the Edge setup. Not to mention, Quad is usually here on the forum answering questions and helping on a daily basis.

I had a similar injector noise that GOOSE 2 is referring to, when I installed my module, but the reason it was noisy is because I also had the Rokktek sensor installed which advances timing. I backed the timing off a little with the Rokktek sensor, and it quieted back down.

I went with the more expensive AFE Stage 2 intake, but if you do some searches you will find cheaper intakes or you might decide to modify your stock intake. If you aren't already considering exhaust, I would recommend it with the chip/intake combo. A cheap alternative is the "muffler delete" or "MBRP replacement muffler". Do a search on either of those and you will find tons of info!

Summit Racing is selling the power puck for $205! Does the power puck add pressure or is it just timing/duration? Looks like a good value for the money.

After researching and just about sold on getting the Van Aaken C3.2 I'm now going to get the SMARTY. Appears the SMARTY is one of the most versatile programmers on the market.
