Diablo Sport Predator programmer

I got my new issue of diesel power mag and it lists the Predator as now available for the 2006 dodge diesels. Is this correct? Does anyone have it yet for 06's or older? If so how do you like it?

I got my Predator from www.concoursdirect.com on sale for $320. I like it a lot - no issues or codes and very smooth power. I'm using the 100hp program and egt hits 1200 @ wot. @3k rpm. I'm playing with timing now. It's helping. Craig

I haven't had any luck with their tech support - each one tells me something different and I don't know what to believe. They said to skip the Puck and get the Predator, that the Puck stack is only for another 40 hp on top of the 160hp Predator. After seeing that the Pred 100hp didn't do much for timing, I asked if the Puck stack would do the timing and the guy didn't know. None of them can tell me what perameters the Pred and Puck control or what they do stacked. They'd sell more if their tech people knew applebutter! Can you still choose the Pred. program and the Puck settings seperately with the stack? Any help is very welcome! Craig

as you can see from my sig I am running the pred with the hot juice,, presently there is 3 feet of snow, so my testing was cut short, but just before the snow I was running the juice on 5 and the pred in tow mode. I was able to do a clocked 0- 60 mph in 5 secs. The tourque is amazing. I will literally sit and spin through 3 gears without hardly moving.

Before I got the juice back from its upgrade I was running the pred on extreme, and I raced a fellow with an 06, he had a silver bullet, a triple stack with a mp8, tst, ppe hot. He was able to jump a truck length at the begining, after that it was dead even all the way to top end. I have also tried the triple dog, and the ppe in my truck, and none of them hold a candle in my opinion for the dollar that the predator does.

streetsmoker I see you got a powerpup and a diablo sport which do you like better.I been running the powerpup on tow stacked with the quad race and was thinking about trying the diablosport instead of the powerpup because my truck falls on it's face in the perf. setting.

Hey streetsmoker, havent seen you in awhile,, hope everything is ok in your world! As for the powerpup, I also ran it (me and streetsmoker seem to run in parralells) it works good,, but nothing in comparison to the diablo, like I mean nothing, not in the same league

I don't want to get too wild - I don't want to do the clutch yet. I like the Predator 100hp program but I was hoping for better mid range power. 2.5 * timing helped but I was wondering how the Puck stack affects the 100hp Pred program. Maybe I should just try the Pred Extreme. I thought the Puck stack might be the best (no codes or other issues) because the Predator has a program for the Puck stack. Craig

I prefer the Diablo!!! The BDPP is very aggressive on the bottom end when in Extreme which may give it a slight edge at the track if there is grip, but the downside is that makes it very erratic for everyday driving. So I would allways have to run it in Tow mode and I would be caught off guard in a lower power setting sometimes with someone who wanted to run. Since I startd using the Diablo, I have not taken it off the Extreme stacker tune sice it's so streetable and my mileage is unchanged

I just had to try the Extreme tune! I think I've calmed down and stopped laughing enough to write about it. Even with the 950 lb. hauler bed it will break loose at 80 mph. Egt and clutch are still fine. Extreme is too much for towing, tho. I finally got someone at Diablo that knows something. The Towing stack (w/Puck) is 100 hp but the tq. rating was nowhere to be found. The Extreme stack is 200/400. I think the towing stack would be perfect but I'm done pouring $$$ into this thing for awhile. Anyway, I am absolutely sold on Diablo! Craig

So Streetsmoker is that the setting you are running now, I didnt get much chance to do much testing, I was blown away with it just on the middle regular setting and the juice on 5. Cant wait to see it be better!!! Actually you got a download from them too didnt you,, how is that working??
