You need the jumper wire, not the resistor on the 03/04's. Works perfect!

1. At what dealership did you get the reflashed done and what was
their opinion on this program?
2. I went to the dealership in Stony Plain, Alberta with the TSP
(21 - 006 - 06, March 20, 2007). The person their said, The program
that was in my truck, new 2005, was best ????????????????????
(can not locked out OD, push tow/haul button, after a one tenth of km it
shifts back into OD).

3. I would like to talk to you on telephone about this?
(What is best way to get in contact which each other!)

Any of the electronic gurus here know if a 1k resistor would work instead of the 33 ohm? I have an unused one that came with my radio, with a long wire and wire tap already on the end. If it doesn't work would it just set a code that can be cleared with the Smarty?

Nobody wants to take a guess on whether it would work or not?

I don't think it will work. I read somewhere in the pages it had to be within a range and The K's don't work.

OK-- now I'm confused. Did the mod as described here. Triple checked everything with the instructions here. Did the jumper; ensured the poles were the right ones. Tranny is stuck in third gear.

What the heck happened? It takes off in third gear (acts just like the brake is on) will not shift regardless of lever position (1,2 or D) tow/haul makes no difference. It will do what it is supposed to in R, N or Park. But it acts almost like a CVT now. Starts really slow (in 3rd) and just keeps building with no shifting and the torque converter will NOT lock up. It does not matter what position the switch is in. Finally I disconnected the wire to the tranny and all went back to normal.

Does ANYONE have an idea what the heck happened??

This may sound stupid, but you connected the wire to ground and not + right?

Have you double-checked the pin number and wire to be sure the right one is tapped?

The only thing I can think of/or see, is that the Banks Six Gun is also tapped into the same "pole 7/yelo wire w/blue stripe". But that is a "monitor" for tranny slippage.

Another dumb idea...

Any chance you started it with the switch in the "on" position?

How hard is it to remove the Banks monitor? I guess that would be your next step.

Nope... very certain I did not start with switch on!

Not possible to remove the Banks line without undoing the whole enchilada

Yeah, you're right it shouldn't make a difference. Was just thinking maybe it could freak the ECM out and put it in some kind of limp mode.
