Me too.. I have some real twisty steep hills I climb where a true 1st-2nd lock would be nice!

I wan't to run a switch on the back of the steering wheel or something... Hmmmm... How to do that??? I wonder if the clockspring has any empty ports to convert..

A new/different switch solved my problem. Setup works great. Does not lock 1 or 2 though. Just 3 & 4.

I've been wondering how to do this as well. The perfect location would be on the backside of the steering wheel (opposite the cruise control). Does anyone know if it's possible?

FYI

With the t/c locked ( switch on)and cruise control on the trans will still kick down if it needs to maintain speed.

I was looking at my steering wheel today and I NEVER use the cruise control "cancel" switch. May convert that switch to TC lockup!!!

Dude, that is by far the best idea I've heard for a TC lockup switch!

If you figure out how to do it PLEASE let us know!

The cruise control switches use specific resistance signals for each function. Not saying you can't do what your thinking, just make sure the output of the cancel switch is providing a true negative signal.

Another thing...it's momentary, so you would need to trigger a latching relay.
