Thumbs up Defiant's New Dual Stabilizer Kit - Works with Mag-Hytec cover

Just wanted to let everyone know, Defiant has come out with a new dual stabilizer kit to work with or without the Mag-Hytec cover. I had recently installed my new M-H cover and had to remove my duals. So, I ordered the single kit from Defiant's website and Paul called to verify my order and ensure I had everything I needed. After some discussion, he was in the middle of mock-up with a new dual design. I was willing to wait for the outcome. He kept me informed during the entire process, including powder coating of the first batch. He had already designated the mock up set to someone else, so he shipped me out the first completed set. I should receive everything by this weekend. I will take some good pics during the install and provide feedback to Paul and post final results, hopefully by Sunday.

If anyone has never dealt with Paul Fox, he is outstanding in ensuring customer satisfaction and will work directly with you for your specific needs. Kudos to Paul and Defiant........

Here is the link to his website. Select Dodge products, then select "Dual Steering Stabilizers". He has pics posted of the new kit without the Mag-Hytec cover, but has tested and assured clearance. I will be sending my pics into him with the cover so he can use those as well, but I'll post here too.

Nice. Thanks. They are local to me. I'll have to swing by and check them out and look Paul up.

IIRC he has two versions. One with gas-charged shocks (like a Superlift setup) and the other has Radflo nitrogen-filled emulsion shocks.

I too would like to see pics of the finished product!

Ok....got the dual stabilizers installed over the weekend. Everything fit great and plenty of clearance with the Mag-Hytec cover. Hope I posted the pics correctly.
What do ya think?

Defiant products.

Paul's a good guy with quality products. He installed my Shuttleworth high flow muffler. He's also the owner of Orange Muffler. Same location.

Thanks for the pictures! Initially, it looks a little odd with the driver's side stabilizer being offset further forward, but I guess it's to gain clearance for the MagHytec?

Is there any difference in how the steering feels? Do the radflows come pre-charged?

Yeah the offset threw me off a little at first too, but it turned out to be a very nice set up. It seems to be the only option to run duals w/o fabbing a passenger side bracket to match (w/ the Mag-Hytec cover). I used to have BDS duals which are similar to Bilstein prior to the new cover. The Radflo are a bit firmer and keep the front end tight and straight. Not a drastic change from my previous duals w/o the cover, but I went ahead with the new shocks anyways. Definite improvement over running a single. They do come pre-charged. I can't recall the exact pressure, but I didn't have to make any changes as shipped.

Glad your still happy! I called Paul and spoke with him yesterday about this dual stabilizer kit. I'm going to have him do an exhaust for me first, before I go with this and the steering box brace. He's going to do a 4" turbo back with a shuttleworth muffler and either a 4" or 3.5" tailpipe.

I was at Paul's shop a few weeks ago having a single stabilizer installed along with a Thuren bar and steering box support. Went to pick them up and do the install myself but his labor $ was so reasonable, I think I paid more for fuel to get there there and home from an hour away. While I was there he informed me about the dual set-up that was coming and also that his new steering box brace was due out soon that is thicker than the current one he offers. If you plan to run 37s, might be worth the wait.
Paul was great to deal with, offers great product, and my truck's front end feels great now.
