Commander Update Testers Needed!!

Ok, I am not really needing anyone to test the actual update itself, just the update process. So you do not actually have to have any issue to be of great help.

USB is a great thing and it is very convenient but, it can also be sort of a nightmare (on the windows side) if the drivers are not installed properly.

We have already updated in the neighborhood of 50 Commanders online but, we want to broaden our testing before we release it to everyone.

I am not going to mention all of the things the update does but here are a few:

Power Level Changes are 3x faster
Tranny will now read 100 degrees when at 100deg or below (versus 104)
Some of the filtering has been removed so the display updates faster on the parameters and now you will see what the data logging shows
03-04 Dodge water temp is now 100% accurate (was off about 10-20deg as reported by some)
Buttons should be pushed with less effort and shorter button pushes
Fuel Pressure reads properly in all cases.

If you want to do the update for me please post here and I will send you a PM. Lets start with 10-15 guys and then if we want more I will ask for more based on how the first ones go.

I am really expecting 0 issues and when these guys get there Commanders updated I plan on just putting it on the website.

Also just so you know there is now a spot on the Commander page for the updates so you guys can check it in the future as new and different things come out.

If you have any questions please let me know.

I'll do it. My Commander has been on about 2 weeks, the fuel pressure is way off but I still love it. Have the race box for about a week and love it too.

Kinda OT, but will the next shipment have this update already? I'm hearing next shipment might be available as soon as next week?

Unless we come across something really, really goofy that the update broke the latest Commanders will ship with the latest code.

Just FYI, ALL Commanders are shipped with USB cables and the update will only take a couple of minutes or maybe 5 minutes if you read the step by step instructions first. So if something needed to be fixed it can be done reasonably easy.
