My brother installed a Power Pup on his truck to give her a test run and threw a code - P2127 which is a throttle sensor position code. Does anyone know eactly what causes this and if it is something to clear and go on or do I need to look into it further? Thanks in advance guys.

 

Well I tried a hard reset on the truck tonight and the code still won't clear. The throttle seems to "stick" or have a delay for 3-4 seconds and then kicks in like normal and drives just fine till you come to another stop. I am thinking that it has to do with the throttle position sensor so I guess I will just have to take it to the dealer tomorrow. Has anyone else had a similar problem on an 03 with a 5 speed?

 

May have messed with a connector when installing under the hood? Not usually a problem unless the cable gets broke or connector undone.
