Good deal. I knew you were not going to let those tiny bolts kick your butt. Its funny how some little things can really mess up the whole day. Make sure when you put them in you put red locktite on them and tq. to 175 Ft. Lbs.

Yep... they are in there nice and tight, but I did not use any locktite... there was not any on there to begin with... I'll watch them for a week or two...

That is way off the mark. 175 ft/lb is more then the head bolts!!!!!!

The FCA cap screw torque is 62 in/lb, equal to a touch more then 5 ft/lb

Wow, that went over everyones head.

All they need is snugged a little, the o-rings do the sealing. I put never seize on mine to make sure they come out again.

I got it right away. Maybe being someone that is knwon to overtorque and break every bolt I can has something to do with it.

You guys know that a fastener is its strongest at the point right before it breaks. The problem is you cant turn it till it breaks and back it off a 1/4 turn.

I had to give my friend down the road an education in fastener tightening. We were in his garage and he was there with a 1/2 impact putting on his car lug nuts just pounding away. I brought a torque wrench from work and let him use it to practice what 100ft lbs was on a lug nut. Some people just go nuts over tightening things.
