I'm surprised you don't have 10-15 opinions yet. I'll start it off. The "big three" of Dodge HD suspension are Carli, Kore and Thuren. They each have kits, and they each have components that are the best out of the bunch. They are all priced accordingly for the quality. Don't be surprised when you inquire on the price and it sounds like a down payment on a truck. This is the reason most peaple piece kits together one component at a time, or mix match from different vendors. I will tell you, I went with a pro-comp 6" system and Deaver 4" rear springs so I could still tow when necessary for a very affordable price. I was satisfied when I installed my kit with the ride quality and offroad performance, because I did'nt plan on drivng throught the nor-cal desert at triple digits when I installed my kit. HOWEVER, since installing my kit, I have ridden in trucks with KORE springs, King shocks, Thuren steering, shock braces, air bags, etc. and it makes a world of difference, even in easy offroad driving. Also you may not need as big a setup as you think. with a little modification and a lot of rubbing, it is possible to run 37s on stock suspension. Looking back, I wish I had went with less than 6in, I may "upgrade" later on to a smaller system with higher end components.

i went with a 5 inch procomp system and ended up putting a new hiem joint on the track bar every 6 months and ball joints yearly, finally went with a carli starter system last year and so far so good, i can only fit 35s with my dc1 rims but i can fit 37s on stock rims, and the ride is a lot smoother

see my carli suspension add, with his control arms you can use 37 in the front. great off road performance and very decent on the road behavior too.

I just put on a 6 inch long arm BDS system with bilstein shocks.

So far the ride is much better than it was stock and I love it.

thanks,

Jay

You can not beat Carli or Thuren's stuff. Call them both and ask questions. I am so glad I researched this step in my build and could not be happier with the system Don Thuren put together with his stuff and some Carli stuff. Highway, town, expansion joints and serious off road handling is awesome and almost every part is designed to be rebuilt if needed instead of just tossing it and having to replace it, if it wears out. Shocks can be set up for your specific style and needs. Best investment in my ride I made. JM.02

I have the Carli system with 37" Bridgestone - no complaints. The ride is as smooth as it can be.

Just dont go cheap. As the saying goes - Buy nice, or buy twice. You need high quality parts to handle the weight of these heavy trucks.

I definitely agree with "buy nice". I didn't do this first time around and the ride was bumping and felt like you were going to be thrown off the road. My new setup was costly, but worth every penny.
