I have one and it did nothing for my truck. I noticed you had a Bully Dog also, and I have seen many threads here about a boost fooler not working well with the Bully Dog.

You just need an adjustable boost elbow for your turbo Dodgewincity...

Our 03's have a mechanical waste gate so you have to crank the mechanical linkage down and then you can use the Boost Fooler. I don't think I will be getting one as my aftermarket turbo can reach 38 PSI so I'm happy with that.

I also have an "03" and I modified the waste gate by running some 1/4" fuel line tubing from the wastegate to an adjustable valve and then to the other side of the turbo. The hose that's there in stock form is only about 6" in length and is easily accessed if you pull the intake pipe off the turbo. I have the AFE stage II intake and it comes out really easily to view the rubber tubing. I have a quadzilla boost fooler and I can easily attain 32+ PSI of boost. My truck produces 22-24 PSI of boost totally stock so I am getting at least a 10 PSI "boost" of boost. It is a really easy mod that has great benefits.
From what I understand any boost over 35-38 is just superheated air with little to no benefit.

Because we/us who have 03's, we do not have electronic wastegates, therefore, we do not need boost foolers.

If you want to raise boost, change out your stock boost elbow to an adjustable one, I do not recommend that with a factory turbo.

A whole lot of info if you search.

Yes, you can make more boost without a boost fooler but, it will set a code and the factory ECM will attempt to de-fuel above about 24psi.

I have one on my 05 with a bully dog and it made a small but noticable difference. i can hit 42psi, and it really cut down on the smoke when i get on it in the top end, not that i minded it.

Is a boost fooler necessary with a Quadzilla standard or race box circa 2 years ago? I presume a circuit is build into the box to avoid defueling and setting codes.
