Best offroad winch bumper???
Best offroad winch bumper???
How's it going everybody well I have been all over the western US last 20 days fighting wild fire on my hotshot crew and yesterday our Superetendent got his F-450 stuck in the mud and knowing im a big diesel guy and truck guy he has put me in charge of finding a offroad bumper with built in winch for his rig so we dont get stuck in no mans land again.
I know nobody drives a powerjoke here but i figures u guys gals could point me in the right direction on where to look for a good bumper winch combo or what has worked well on your 3rd gen etc.
Only thing he has to have it a hideaway winch that can pull 17000 pounds our buggys weigh that much so if we get them stuck he has to get us out as well but the winch has to be hidden kind of like the powerwagon were only the hook is visable from the outside.
thanks for any help info etc

Bumper
I was looking at the Warn Heavy Duty as well, a guy near me has 1 I liked, also really liked the Buckstop. But someone here mentioned the TDK bumpers. I looked 'em up, and that's the one I'm going for. Talked to him the other day about fitting my MM 12K lb hydraulic in it. Check it out, Throttle Down Kustoms in Idaho. Don't know hope to post links, or I would. H.T.H. Mike.
Fab Fours
I plan on the Fab Fours winch bumper without the pre-runner tube if I ever get one. They are pretty sweet and handle a Warn 16.5 winch......
Plus, I happen to be deeply in love with their Mega Cab.
I've seen it in person @ the local Fab Fours dealer and it is very, very sweet....
