Denver Offroad and Warn Winch Questions?

To all those that have a Denver Offroad front bumpers and have added a Warn Winch, I have a couple questions.

Do you have to drill any new holes? (Warn M12000)

Any problems encountered while installing the winch?

Any tips and tricks to ease installation?

Got my winch yesterday and am planning on installing it tomorrow,
and wouldn't it be great if I was able to pull this off hitch free.

Thanx

I don't own a DOR or Warn, but I talked to Layne about fitting a winch, and he said an M12000 bolts right in-- no need for extra holes.

When I bought it I asked him, and he said one of the warns bolts right in but the other one didn't.

Couldn't remember if he said the 15000 or the 12000 fits.
Or maybe it was one of the smaller ones.

Thanx for the confirmation.

I borrowed an engine hoist (cherry picker if you prefer).

I could lift the bumper itself into position when I first installed it back last July,
but I don't think I can lift the 130 lb. bumper with the 130 lb. winch in it.

That weighs about the same as I do, hmmmmm?

I bet Scotty could, but he's too far away to ask.

Going to tackle this tomorrow morning if anyone has any more tips.

But of course.

Which reminds me, I need to put my camera battery in the charger tonight.
