best winch bumper for approach angle?
I'm looking for a winch bumper but don't want to reduce my approach angle too much. Any ideas? Thanks

I have the Buckstop. I have nosed it into terra firma a couple of times in severe environments. It did not stop my progress. Installation without the tow hooks would help a bit.
Incidentally, with the use of D25 (2") front springs, my ride height is slightly higher than stock after the addition of winch and bumper.

You also have the Trail Ready front and rear bumpers that don't look bad. Alsp my favorite is the Road Armor Bumpers, they seem like they would have a decent approach angle.

I am getting two new bumpers shipped in black with front and rear recvrs.
I have an extra rear bumper here that is new in silver I am shipping back to Road Armor.
The truck in that link is mine and it sure did sustain some damage but the appraiser said I wouldve had thousands of dollars more damage with the stock stuff. They are not giving me much hassle at all on the claim. For a change.

Not sure what the 3rd gen Denver Offroad's look like, but here's a pic of my 2nd gen version.
Maybe someone has a pic of the 3rd gen for comparison?
I think the 3rd gen's extend further down, much like the stock 3rd gen compared to the stock 2nd gen.

If you are lookin for a really tuff bumper that has a great approach angle (better than factory). Check out B.I.T. Products. They have a lot of unique features that you can't find anywhere else. Strong and light weight by design. High quality with great fit and finish. You can get just about any finish you want. Even color matched. You can find them at www.extremewinchbumpers.com. They build front and rear models. They aren't cheap but I don't think you'll find more for your dollar anywhere.

Thanks for the ideas. B.I.T Products looks nice but a bit too pricey. At this point I'm leaning toward the Trailready or Buckstop. Offroad Tech ( http://www.offroadtechinc.com/default.htm ) looks good too but their site doesn't show a bumper for a 3rd gen. I'll find out.
