Bed tool boxes
I bought a Weatherguard cross bed box recently. I got it at TSC, and it was the most expensive box there. However, after comparing the TSC branded boxes with the Weatherguard, it was a no-brainer, even at the higher price.
All you have to do is bang on the bottom of the TSC boxes, then the Weatherguard, and you will see what I mean.
I love the Weatherguard locking mechanism. It is substantial, neat, clean, works from either side of the truck, and you can tell at a glance if it is locked or not.

I have cheapish diamond plate aluminum bed top boxes from Tractor Supply.
My cross bed is decent. I don't have it packed terribly heavy but it is packed. It locks pretty well, but then I'd never trust it with guns or really expensive tools.
My side boxes LOOK the same but couldn't work/feel more different! Drivers side is pretty decent, while pass side needs some finessing to close and is de-laminating so it never feels perfectly closed.
The best box I ever had was an older steel Delta.
The black aluminum Weatherguard on my bosses F250 ain't at all shabby either!
I need all this space as I'm a pressure washer tech. I need a LOT of stuff to have ANY chance of fixing one in one trip. I also need whatever bed space I can manage to hual drums and machines.
Best thing I EVER had was a Knapheide Service Body on my 90 F350!!!
