anybody notice this with a new intake horn?

Ok, my truck is pretty much my daily driver and I don't pay attention to as much stuff as most, but I noticed this for sure.

I added a new intake horn from GDP (Thanks Larry) and I don't know how much it added as this is always a discussion, but it did one thing without a doubt.

In between shifts my truck would have a slight bog if you will. I could actually watch the boost drop a little and you could feel the truck drop power a little. To me that was normal just because it made sense that if it shifted, it dropped RPM, and it dropped boost.

Well with the new intake this is completely gone. It is so smooth. When my truck shifts the 1-2 the boost doesn't drop at all and it feels noticeably better than before. I was so sure it couldn't be that so I went and put the stock one back on and sure enough the bog was back. The GDP is staying on now whether it helps with anything else or not.

Just wanted to see if other noticed the same thing.

Same to you Madhat
Congrats on your time there in Jacksonville by the way. I just moved from there and couldn't make it down for that weekend.
