The stock filter is more than adequate at stock HP. however, the stock air box is a little restrictive. That can be quickly fixed by drilling some holes in the bottom of it.
If you are running a stock muffler, then your money would be better spent getting rid of it.

Mine sure works good and definitely dropped EGT's when towing and dropped my passing time at higher speed (50 to 80 mph).
