Air Filter

I have a stock air intake and going to change my filter and was wondering which one yall recommend! Also if I drill holes in the box will that help a little? I dont have the money to buy a new one yet cause im ordering guages first

I think the best drop-in filter on the market is the AFE superstock pro dry 7. it's HUGE, same shape as the K&N - fills your airbox - but requires no oil.

~$75

My filter minder has not moved one bit since installation. Stock filter would pull down the minder about 25% just by going to WOT.

Drill out your airbox with a bunch of 2 inch holes, remove your turbo silencer ring, and she will be singing away.

Do a search, you will find plenty on both topics.

We need to drill out the airbox and pull out the baffles from the air intake tube. The AFE Pro-dry is going to be a good replacement for stock or we could set-up you up with the *****'s Whistler or a BHAF setup.

I really like the Amsoil Eaa189 drop in filter and it is only $36.15. Never used an AFE so no comment. Amsoil filter is dry also and no oil, you just blow it out with air.

I agree with the Amsoil Ea 189. Although, the stock filter will do a comparable job to all.
