After Injector Nozzle Install Excessive Smoke Plaease Help!!!!!!

I Put New Ddp Injector Nozzles On My Injectors And Replaced The Whole #1 Injector I Started The Truck And There Is Alot Of Smoke From Unburnt Fuel At Idle. Please Help With This Problem. The Original Failure Was That The #1 Injector Was Spraying Fuel Into The Valve Cover Causing It To Go Into The Oil. I Changed To Oil After The Injector Install.

Contact DDP and have them troubleshoot with you. Also I wouldnt drive it till you find the problem, or pull everything and re-check, and retorque. Good luck.

What are you seeing, you need to explain a little better. Some injectors haze at idle others do not. Their is a big difference between haze and a constant smoke. You can recheck valve lash, but Im not sure what you would see if they were lashed wrong but I dont think it would be smoke, I think it would just sound horrible and run ruff. But again Im not sure on the valve lash.

The Smoke Is Coming Like Raw Fuel It Not Just A Little The Only Example I Can Is Like A Pulling Tractor Sitting At The Line Idling Just Constant White Fuel Smoke.

Well thats no good. I would pull the valve cover start her up and take a look see if they may be leaking at the top of the seat, look at the rail lines and connector tube areas for visible leaks. If you dont see anything they may have to be pulled and shipped off to be flow tested. Also when you pulled them make sure the copper washer came out, and you put a new one on when you re-installed them.

As long as you installed them correctly you should be ok.
Did you use a torque wrench for the nozzle torque?

When I first installed my DDP's I thought there was something wrong because they were white smoking at idle....not a whole lot but enough to make me worry.
I drove the truck for about 10-15 miles and the smoke cleared up and the exhaust was clean.

I have like 10k miles on them now, work great so far....

You will get alot of white smoke on startup after an injector swap alot of fuel gets into the cylinders when you pull them out but it should clear up after some idle time if it continues for very long then there could be a problem. Start it and run it up to 1200-1500rpm for a little bit and see if it clears up.

I'd make sure you got the copper washer out of it. That'll mess you up. It won't spray in the bowl if you have two washers in it.

You are probly ok. When you pull the injectors out oil and raw fuel run into the chamber, and it will do that after a new set is installed.

With that said, is the truck running bad?knocking? How long have you let it run? If you havnt let it run long, you just need to let it run and burn it all out. BUT it never hurts to check and recheck yourself.
