Ok,, here goes,, so far with my truck,,,, when I was running 50hp sticks, hot juice and diablosport on exteme stack, no pressure box, I hit 632 hp..... after that dyno day I added a dr p pressure box, made a huge difference,, I wouldnt have been supprised with 675 hp,, (unfortunately I didnt have a chance at a dyno after I added it,, but I did gain about 4 tenths of a second in the 1/4.

I still run that stack for street drving,, Im sure that when I dyno my truck in november here that with my curent stuff that stack will probably yield somewheres around 8- 850 hp.... but,, I also have the new PPE unit that allows over 4000 rpm it is a special new tune that Barry got for Mike Drevers truck,,, which is also a 305 555 engine,, the difference between the old ppe unit and the newest one is that he ran a 10.8 with the old, and a 10.48 with the new one...... which is the fasted common rail going right now.... so I would say that the most HP combo is the new PPE and the Dr Performance stage IV ......

But for street use I still love my hot juice, diablo, dr p,, it is just so smooth and trouble free

I thought the Diablo was everything but trouble free...

I love the idea of 630hp on a 03-04 but wish it could be done with something other then Diablo/JA stack more like Smarty/TST/MP8.

I just dont like what ive heard about Diablo's customer service lately.

The 110 MPH shut down really s**ks bob. If Marco can get rid of that and keep my motor quite, and the smoke down like it is now, I'll be on cloud nine.

They've recently removed the top speed limiter on the smarty...check the website, new versions posted....as well i believe there's a beta 4.4 with the sl removed.

To be honest, I have had nothing but great service from them, they even created a couple of custom tunes for me,, but alas I think feel that I have reached the end of what they can offer me.... But up to this point that has been my favorite downloader of all..... and I still throw it in there when I want to drive around town or go on a trip with the truck, just way smoother...

Im personally not a big fan of TST's,, I think that if I was going to run a smarty, I would just put in a pressure box (which in my opinion the Dr Performance is the best) I have a feeling that the new Smarty beta software would run very good with a pressure box, I am of the belief that the tst would just be redundant.

But as I said earlier I will be able to give you some more concrete numbers coming up here in November, as I am looking for (and going to be testing for) the absolute highest hp I can get with my current setup,

This is what I will be testing:

Hot Juice, Diablosport, Dr P

Bullydog 2.4d, Dr P

PPE (custom tune) dr P

Unfortunately I wont be testing a smarty, as NADP has stopped selling them here, and I havent been short listed for the beta software.

I will keep you posted

Guys just a thought before the new smarty software comes out with no speed limiter, change your tire size. I changed mine and clipped over 120mph on the dyno, and that was my first try I just guessed a size.

Ok, this is the stuff I'm wanting to hear. I know each truck is different, but the PPE really has my attention right now. I just assumed, before looking at their website, that the '03 model would be derated just as everything else is. Not sure if it's a typo or not but with an advertised 300 hp with an out of the box tune.... WOW. Of course anybody can write a number down, but the stuff Morkable posted was very helpful, especially knowing about the extended RPM range. This truck has the capability for higher RPM just not the programming.

What I'd like to know is what level each box/programmer setting is for the max. Granted different trucks like different tastes of fuel, timing, pressure, and duration, I'm just trying to get an idea of how to make power not heat for a couple hours on the dyno.

Thanks again.
