20 inch rims what size tire?

I have standard 06 2500 4x4. What size tire should i put on 20 inch rim that will not cause any rubbing issues or turning issues? I DO NOT have any type of lift kit on the vehicle. What is good brand that will not cost me my first born child? Also if you have photo that would be greatly appeciated...Thnks

You could put some 305's on the 20 rims, without having to lift or level it I believe. I have been researching this like crazy, but I want to do 20's with a lift, and it is all in getting the rim width, backspacing, and offset numbers right. I have seen a few pics of members that have done the 305's on 20's on the site. I bet they will post up some pictures before long.

20x10 Eagle 114's with 4 5/8" backspacing.
305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers
2" leveling kit

I had to do a little clearancing of the fender, but otherwise no issues.

Its all in the rim dimensions guy....

Its common that some guys rub their 305 and 295's and guy like me that dont rub their 35" MT's.

20's are a big wheels and small rubber doesnt look good on big rims IMHO. You need at least 35's to look right, or it will look like you stole some 20" rims off a 2wd 1/2 Chevy and put them on your truck.

Since I dont own 20's and 35's I really can tell you the exact demintions. But if you want 18's and 35's w/o a lift I can help you there.

goodluck

20's are fine as long as your side wall is not 45 or lower. A 50 series side wall is fine.

Hey BigDan, I am looking to get some 18's with 33 or 35 tires. Any advice would be appreciated. I don't want to lift if I don't have to.

What size tires do you think would look good on the standard rims? Does anyone have photo of tire up grade on standard rims?
