I just installed the juice/attitude on my truck and the "malfunction" light came on. Its the yellow engine lighton the left side of the dash. The manual says that if it stays on then there is an emissions problem. This only came on when I installed the juice today and it stays on. Also, I notice surging when driving onlevels 3, 4, 5 . Mostly when I'm accelerating hard or cruisng with the cruise control off. Tommorrow I will change the fuel filter. Its' been about 8 months and 9,000 miles so it shuld be good. Any ideas on the alarm light and the surging? I checked all the plugs and they seem to be fully inserted. It seems to be making the power - I spun the rear tires on my dually for about 15 feet!

Also, I don't have the boost elbow installed. OWuld this help with the surging?

 

I just installed one on my truck as well and the check engine light came on with both 2146 and 2149 codes. When I set back to stock the lights went off after a while. Called Edge and they are replacing my unit. Give them a call. Their help line is very good.

Well I found the problem. I had the 1,2 and 3,4 injector plugs swapped. I put them in the right place and it is very smooth now. Power is better as one would expect. I love this box! Level 3 is a major power increase and that is where I have it most of the time. No clutch slip and have yet to get over 1000 deg. F on level 5. I'm about 80 feet above sea level. I'm itchin to pull with it. i may have to hook up my goose neck and put my 4020 on it. Thats about 17,000 lbs.
