why some 6.7's have more issues...
Below is article I saw that might explain why some 6.7 owners have more problems with their trucks than others. Since we are told not to let our trucks idle for extended periods of time, could 8 days of idling with the A/C turned on have anything to do with it?
Train found with suspected undocumented immigrants aboard

One suspect told authorities that they had been traveling on the train for eight days and that at least four other people were traveling with them. However, authorities searched 70 rail cars and were unable to find any other passengers.
The train was coming from Mexico carrying new Dodge trucks inside rail cars. The final destination was Phoenix.
They had gotten inside the rail car by propping open a door, but it locked behind them after they entered, authorities said.
Mike Sandulak, a public information officer with Phoenix fire, said the trucks had keys in each car, which allowed the stowaways to turn on the trucks for air conditioning.

Thats a story that DC will never tell!!!!!!!!
But IMHO, thats not it. You figure that they couldnt effect more then a couple cars with the ac turned on, but theyre a crap load of trucks that are going to dealerships with codes. Most likely, they just rushed to get this epa stuff on. either way, problems are 95 percent fixed now.

Wouldn't they die of CO poisoning? Geez, I can't stand to have mine running in an open garage for more than a minute (Gasp!). Of course, I don't have a DPF or a Cat on my '03 either
BTW, here's the link to the original article in case any of you find the story a little far-fetched as I did: http://www.azcentral.com/news/articl...ident0907.html

Im just speaking on behalf of a couple service writers and mechanics. I have not ran into 1 single problem yet, but my truck still has paper plates. After a few flashes and tsb's, alot of problems gotton fixed. But again, thats just dodge employees talkin wether they are talkin truthfully or bsing. And most of my driving is on interstate and towing, were alot of problems are from in towners and modders!! maybe, from what I know. Not trying to start a war, but thats just from what I hear
