My Mega Cab works better for hauling my 4-year-old and twin 8 month olds than my wifes minivan. plus it can haul all my work stuff too. Actually, it can do both at the same time!

I'll admit that I bought the Mega Cab instead of the quad, extended, etc. for the kids, but boy that extra space gets used a lot. Best decision my wife has even made for me.

I have a QC I came back to dodge after having a crew cab F250 sicko. I sure miss the room, when buying it doesnt seem like that much of a sacrafice but once you get everything loaded they are not that roomy. I too hate shortbed trucks but I wish I would have bought the MEGA when the fam is with me.

I just helped my neighbour buy a brand new MegaCab SRW, no problem.

Go to dodge.com and build your own,,, they all start their life as a DRW but just select the SRW option at the right time and viola done.

Check dealers inventory and they are at lots of dealers.

I see it now. There is a SRW selection in the options. Credit of approx $1500. Thanks everyone.

My buddy has a 6.7 SRW 3500. I see it in the parking lot right now. He just got it a couple of weeks ago.

What is the cost difference between the 2500 SRW MC and a 3500 SRW MC? The only difference is a load helper spring or something similar. Right?

Not Much.

Get the 3500, you will never regret it.

It also rides a bit softer than the 2500, (when empty).

And it's worth more when you wish to sell it.

Jeez, just my opinion but i think the SRW Megas are ugly unless you get them up in the air with some wheels/tires... Even then I'd rather have a DRW 4x4 MC.

I kinda wish I would have bought one, but love my truck anyway!

Thats right when they are similarly equiped. Plenty of items come standard on a 3500 that don't on the 2500, like the CTD. Some of these you may or may not want to pay extra for. Invoice was $200 more for the 3500 a year ago given the same equipment options, haven't checked lately.

There may be recuring anual cost in the 3500 due to license or taxes. That depends on where you live. A few insurance companies charge more because you can haul more.

It's the only option that gives you a credit instead of a charge ("single rear wheel group"). I ordered mine In Dec 06 and got it in March of this year. I ordered the clearence lights, better visiability when towing, but I changed out the lenses for clears. 3,500 miles so far, and it has been great! It tows really well too!!

What do you think?
