Single mass flywheel/clutch noise

One of the mechanics in my shop just installed a set up in a customers truck and now it makes a noise with the clutch engaged, but not when it's released. It sounds almost like a rattling, kind of a gr-r-r-r-r-r-r-r. I know that these set-up are noisier, but this is our first one and don't wnat to turn out a poor product.

clutch pedal out in neutral smf's and dual disc clutches can be loud, as well as when in gear and lugging the motor (under 1700 rpm) tuning shouldnt have anything to do with it (unless you are actually hearing timing rattle

It's a single disc clutch. I'm not sure what all was done on thetune to quiet it down. it may have just been timing rattle.

the tuning can affect the engine spike, more spike more noise.

Sounds like typical gear rollover to me.
