It also works well with the "anti spin" rearends because they are basically like a locker, BUT they need resistance to work and the snow does NOT give enough resistance to lock them up. So you apply the parking brake a little and now you have the resistance to lock them in. I suppose you could use the regular brake also, but I don't have 3 feet. :-)

Well i happen to love my duallie in the snow and i plow with it and have a 9' 6" stainless steel V-plow hanging off the froont....also have an 07 srw quad cab short bed.....drw wil out push that thing anyday.....and if you are worried about milage..... there really isn't any difference between 4wd and 3wd if you get 2wd because you'll be putting weight in the back...therefore reducing mileage..... its all common sense stuff
