I've swiss cheesed a couple of airboxes over the years myself. I never really saw any gains doing it though.

I agree that the performance gain is minimal, it does keep the filter minder from being sucked down ever time you get on it.

I changed mine after reading the report from PSI on the HP lost by sucking in warm air.

It's a 4" in x 6" out tip. I got it from DPPI a couple years ago....

The filter minder has still not sucked down one little bit. I'm gonna stick with the AFE filter......

My air raid fits perfect, mpg dont know, i installed it first thing when i bought the truck, and my gauge hasnt moved, Iv only have 4780k on in now, been on couple long heavy hauls, with the juice and air raid, again 410s, and the mileage iam getting 15-16city-18.5highway, something is working right together

dont know it this will help, but I run and K&N on everything ive got, 4wheelers,drtdikes, all my old trucks, after the dirt built up on a K&N the better it flowed air, doesnt make sense but after 15 yrs I first handed it. I would of went the same with the 6.7 but K&N didnt make one for it at the time.
