How much will this swap save in MPG?

I'm thinking about getting this done at my local allignment shop. How much do you think it will add to the MPG, now that I would have free spinning hubs. I'm currently getting 16 hand calc with GPS mixed city/hwy. I would love to get some feedback before I dump 2K into this project.

I would count on it being a whole lot, you could buy a nice little geo metro for way less than 2 grand and it would yeild alot better fuel mileage

Little to no gain is my guess and certainly not worth the inconvenience or expense of going to hubs.

Most on here have reported a 1-2mpg change (search "Dynatrac hubs"). But you can do at least that well airing up your tires, keeping your filters fresh and taking it easy on the go-pedal.

If the price was more reasonable, like $800, then *maybe*...

I think the greater point of this unit is the rebuildability (he he I think it just made a new word) of the units. Once the change is made, the bearings and seals are cheap and easy to repack or change out. This is for the gear head out there who wants to put a million miles on a unit. You will, stop parts from rotating unnecessarily, and wearing out, but it isn't like your gonna a get a whole mpg out of it.
