Had G30 Recall Done On 12-10-07 My Fuel Mileage Went Dowm Aprox 20%. So Returned To The Dealer Today 12-14.
On The Way To The Dealer About 30 Miles My Mileage Started Going Back Up (on Overhead) Is My Truck Magical Or What!
I Told The Service Mgr Of My Problem. He Said That They Would Check My Truck To Make Sure That The O2 Sen/ Reflash Was Done Properly. After 1 Hour He Report That The G30 Was Correct.
He Also Told Me To Expect More Recalls. Dodge / Cummings Are Working To Get All The Bugs Out Of The New 6.7 Diesels
This Dealership Has Replaced 5 Turbos Due To Soot/dont Be Suprised If The Total Exhaust System Is Replaced With Larger One.
It Seems Like The Exhaust With All The Components Are Causing All Kinds Of Problems.
He Also Told Me That The G30 Recall Males The Regen Cycle Work More Often. This Affects The Fuel Mileage. On My Way Home I Reset The Overhead And Got A Reading Of 20.5 Mpg Doing 70 Mph @ 2000 Rpm.
From My Visit I Got That Dodge/cummings Are Very Aware Of All The Problems With The 6.7 Diesel And Are Working To Get A Fix.
