Maybe the admins will move this thread to the 4th gen section where there are numerous folks who might be able to help you. You might also try to re-post in the 4th gen section as well.

Well, my bet would be that the slider nozzle on the turbo is junked up and the variable part of the turbo is not so variable any more. My lil brothers truck used to do something similar.

If you have a buddy at the dealer, Id get him to look into it if you still are under warranty. He may be able to get you some help. Is it Acadiana Dodge? I know a person or two over there.

A better assessment I could make by seeing what it actually does in person.

How many miles you got on that truck?

oh, and, Welcome to the DTR!

Well the slider nozzle is integral to the turbo, so short of rebuilding the turbo is the only way to change it. But, changing it is probably not needed. It is just sooted up and not functioning properly. If that is indeed the problem.

Hard to say.

Re-reading your post it could be a number of things. Any other symtoms. Rough idle? Missing? Anything like that? Or does it just seem that its bogged down, then when it wants to go, it just goes.

am i missing something? is the truck deleted with no programmer? sims? how about having the actual codes or code history read to see what specific trouble is causing the ETC light?

The code you sent me was P2121 - Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor 1 Performance

I didnt think that the newer trucks had a APPS, just a Throttle Position Sensor.

Maybe someone who is familiar with it can chime in.

Im gonna move this over to the 3rd gen section too.

Ok, found that on the 6.7's the APPS is actually on the accelerator pedal.

If you look at the pedal you should see the sensor mounted on the side of it.

Has anyone figured this out yet 'cause the wife's 07 does same thing. Have replaced the throttle pedal to no avail also made **** sure no air leaks around sensors on AFE CAI.
