6.7L problems

Well this my girlfriends' truck but i am curious whats wrong with it. Its a '07 6.7L with auto trans. it was ideling in the parking lot for bout 10 min. and she put it in reverse stepped on the pedal and it died. the shift selector blacked out and when tried to restart it it wouldnt do nothing not even a click. when she turned on the key the fuel gauge and volt meter only worked. i dont know much bout a dodge but i think the water temp. would move when the key is turned on. it had good connections on battery and starter. i dont know any explainations. All i can think of is maybe the alarm.

If it's under warranty, take it in. No need in taking a chance on voiding it.

I don't blame you. I would be upset with a new truck breaking down that quickly.
