6.7 noise

I am sure some of you are going to think I am totally dumb, but as I told you before (previous post) I am new to my 2007 6.7. Anyway, when I am outside and my truck is running it has a whistling sound to it. Like there is an air leak and or air restriction. Is this the "new" turbo?

thanks
Randy

Shut your exhaust brake off and see if it doesn't go away. Some so this, especially when cold.

Mine does this when idling with exhaust brake on. It sounds really cool when you run high idle with E brake on. Kinda like a jet engine.

Ya, you can hear the turbo spool as the Ebrake kicks in.. Sure warms up the truck quick too..
