I have an 03 with a dunrite converter and valvebody. At W.O.T. The truck wont shift until you back out a little then it'll shift then 2nd and 3rd gear are fine. I run a Smarty TNT/R and Hot edge juice w/ Attitude and all the timing off in the smarty. Any ideas?

 

The 5.9L forum prior to 2007 would probably be able to help you a lot more. Administrators can help move it for ya.

The general cause of that in a performance trans is the line pressure flooding the gov circuit and causing it to hang shift. The aftermarket gov solenoids were developed to address this issue.
