Wires to fan clutch cut in to

Found that the wires going to my clutch fan are cut in to. That would explain the poor AC at low speeds and increased engin and trans temps. Does the clutch fan need to be replaced or can new wiring be purchased? Is this a design flaw from Dodge?

New clutch. Can fix the wires, but you may end up with more issues.

Check the fan bearing on the engine and make sure the radiator is in it's mounts.

Is the brand Hayden a good fan clutch?

I can't say for sure. What's the price, and where can you purchase? Also, what kind of warranty?

did the above as well..

make sure while you are at it, you can also wire loom the wires that the FC has on it, i wireloomed mine and got them out of the way, experience from others having the same problems taught me that one..

NAPAs FC is pretty good, and IIRC i got it for 260 or so out the door...

A friend of mine has suggested checking the fan for movement. I am considering electrics...

I have seen this come up many times, it may feel good but may not be. There is a thread that the guy was on clutch number three and that time replaced the bearing.
