i have read several times on this forum there is no difference in mpg between the two gear ratios (4.10 &amp; 3.73). The 410 keeps the cummins in its sweet spot 2200-2500 at most highway speeds. I turn 2300 at 70. The adavantage of the 3.73 to me would be less engine noise at high speed and the ability to go faster. Ifyou drive over 75 a lot and dont pull much or pull heavy then the 3.73 would be better. i personally drive 70 maybe 75 max. i pull heavy loads occasisonally and would rather have too much gear than too little. I recommend the 4.10. Its not too much gear and the mpg is the same. You have that extra pulling power if you need it.
