Well here's my 2 cents worth!! I have 337000+ miles on my 3500 SRW 4x4 CTD . I put about 10,000 on a month pulling RV's for a living. So I change oil at 10,000 intervals. Rotella Syn. 5w40 with NAPA Gold filters. Oil & Fuel at them intervals. I also use Lucas add. in every thing. Still running STRONG!!! There are some powerstrockers & dogamax's that can tell ya that!!

Good testament. Thanks for sharing. Not too many people here log those kind of miles.

I have always used Rotella 15w-40 and changed last year to Rotella 5w-40 synthetic and can't believe the difference.

I always used the rotella 15w-40 until it changed to the CJ. So now I use Valvoline Premium Blue CI Plus. If you look at the TDR results. Rotella synthetic is high on list, regular Rotella 15w-40 is one of the worst.

In my area several farmers last year stopped using Rotella in everything they own as the new CJ-4 oil is not holding up as well as the old CI-4+ oil did.
