Bought truck new in 03 and replaced over the years:

9 rear u-joints
1 CP3
1 Lift pump (replaced it with the Air-Dog )
3 sets of tires
1 set of brakes front and rear
1 set of front axle joints and hub assemblies

That's my entire list and the 'ol gal just turned 268000 miles

07 5.9. 92000.

1 injector warranty
1 set ball joints and u joints. $1500

1 airconditioning line $200
1 set front brake pads. $90
front shocks $150
1 set of tires $1000
1 small dent in the back $250 deductible
1 mysterious trip to dealer by wife on a snow day Something about 4 wheel drive and codes. I think she got it stuck in 4wd. $200
25 or so oil changes $2500
plus some expensive transmission flushes and differential fluid changes. all at the dealer. $ 1600 or so

towed 7000 lb trailer half of its miles. Alaska trip. rough roads, hills.

I have saved about $9000 or perhaps a little more on fuel over a gasser. Looking ahead I see the potential for some high repair costs, but I love pulling with the diesel so I will probably keep it and take my chances. any suggestions

Just clicked over 86K.
Been lucky so far...Only issue has been a #4 cracked injector line (warrenty item) and I had Death Wobble like crazy (I still say this had something to do with the BFGs I was running after about 40K miles on em'...took em' off, and "knock on wood" never happened again).

Couldn't be happier with my ride...She has treated me well!

04.5 just about to turn 98,000

I think I'm pretty lucky:

2 front u-joints (although not 100% needed, replaced bearings and brakes while I was in there)

1 rear driveshaft joint
1 license plate bulb
1 tail light (water intrusion)
1 set of tires (1000 bucks)
4 shocks

that's it. with the new shocks, it feels ike a new truck again.
