Truck won't turn over.

I drove my truck home approximately 3 miles sunday and parked it. This morning it won't even try to turn over. The check engine light comes on, then flashes 10 times and stays on. It is leaking a small amount of fuel. I'm going to check the filter cap seal and relace it plus unhook the batteries for 1/2 hour just to try that. It is a 2006 5.9 liter with 55,000 miles. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have ried to retrieve codes by cycling the key on,off,on,off,on but cannot get it to work.

Try your other key to make sure it's not the security system. I believe it should still start and run for a few seconds even if it doesn't recognize the key, but my Mustang wouldn't even turn over when it occurred.

After changing the fuel filter to put a new cap seal in it the truck started. Iteither had something to do with the filter, seal or the hood struts letting the hood slam jossled something. So I'm either lucky or a dumbass.

If the truck didn't even turn over check the driver's side motor mount. You will have a yellow wire with blue tracer that runs real close to it going to the starter, It is the trigger wire. Make sure the mount has not chaffed the wire.

Thanks. I'll take a look at it.
