Exclamation Truck cranks but wont start

I took the edge tuner off a month ago and haven't started it since. Now it just cranks but won't start. It acts like its not getting fuel. Is there something I could have done when removing the tuner or did it lose its prime from sitting so long. Need help asap thanks

Unlike the older diesels, your 06 will not really lose its prime. If you have cranked it a few times the pump will have pressurized to system.

When you first turn the key to the ON position, can you hear the pump in the tank make a buzzing noise? If you "Bump" the starter you will hear the pump run even longer.

Ok also a couple days before it was parked it threw a crankshaft position sensor code which I cleared. It never ran rough before so I figured everything was ok. I'm wondering if that's the issue

I believe you done broke the code! All you did was turn out the light. You either have a bad CPS or wiring. I'' check the connections first. If the CPS has gone TU, or the wiring is broken, then the ECU is waiting for a signal to start the injection sequence. No signal, no juice (Diesel)!

Hey, you have to remember that without actually checking the CPS or pulling the codes, we are really making a SWAG at what the problem really is

Well its the fan clutch. It has a short that won't allow the pcm to power up. Great design
