Exclamation 06 cranks but wont start

I took the edge tuner off my 06 about a month ago and haven't started it since. Now its a month later and it acts like its not getting fuel. Did it just lose its prime from sitting so long or did taking the tuner off do something?

Do you have a fuel pressure gauge? Do you have any codes? Can you hear the fuel pump running in the tank? Are you sure you plugged all the sensors in when you took the edge off? Did you plug the map sensor back in? The pump could have died, you have a bad injector that is not closing, therefore you cannot build the required pressure in the rail to start, or your rail pressure sensor is bad, or your FCA is having issues... ??? Start with the easy stuff first.

Ok ill check what I can. Also I forgot to say that a couple days before it was parked it threw a crankshaft position sensor code but seemed to run just fine and I cleared the code. I think ill start with replacing that sensor if its easy to get to

I would just clean it and re-seat it first.

Keep us posted of what you do.

Did you do the key trick to get the codes, or do you have a reader?

Yes. Three or four times.... It depends. Try three first, then four.

Well gave up and took it to the dealer. It took three different dealers before a tech could figure it out. Its a short in the fan clutch that causes the pcm to lock up. Great design
