trashed my engine? oil everywhere!
To be honest TIRE issues at dealer level are a royal pain.TIRES are warrantied through the TIRE manufacture. Some auto manufactures ARE trying to make this easier.G.M.NOW has it were a dealer runs a warranty claim on tires just like ANY other part but that has NOT always been the case.D.C.is trying or his heading in the same direction.Tire warranty at dealer level is a TOUGH one for them.In your owners pack you GET A SEPERATE tire warranty booklet and HOW to get tire issues handled. In the past the FEW times WE tried to handle tire warrantys the procedure was hardly user friendy and getting paid on them even less so.G.M. now has them under 3/36 and I guess handles the HARD stuff from THEIR end.but for DECADES its ALWAYS been stated tire WARRANTIES were through the TIRE MANUFACTURE.

I understand there is a process but telling me to go to Goodyear to get it fix did not fix it. Here was their solution, they took off the spare and replaced the worst one and put the bad on on as the spare. There you go, on your way!! Great stuff. I am glad I paid 40K for that kind of service. When those are shot I won't be buying any Goodyear tires thats for sure.

i still don't have a definate answer about what is wrong with the truck. the truck is at another dealer who is trying to get the diagnosis done, they said i will know something either today or tomorrow. i had several different dealers that i spoke with about the issues, and most agree that my original dealer was not handling things properly, and that they should have figured out what was actually wrong, and what the cause of the prob, before denying warranty work( which is exactly what several of the guys on here have mentioned). i will let ya'll know the verdict as soon as i know something.

In SOME cases I have seen WARRANTY pay for whatever checkout was involved including teardown to then say WE all see the problem and can't offer further assistance instead of leaving customer with a BIG teardown bill.I have ALSO seen them pay for parts. They actually are selling them BACK to themselves and customer pay labor etc.Lots of differant ways QUESTIONABLE items can and DO get handled as well as its just plain covered. There are some folkes out there that aren't just plain AXXX about it.Any and ALL can speculate but until its opened up its ONLY a guessing game.
